L’Oréal Paris welcomes top Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc as Global Ambassador. The inspiring 28-year-old joins L'Oréal Paris to embody L’Oréal Paris Men Expert and L’Oréal Paris hair care and hair styling ranges: two high-performance ranges created to help men foster self-care and self-confidence.
MEET CHARLES LECLERC
Born and raised in Monte Carlo, Charles began competitive kart racing at the age of seven, before going on to win the junior World Cup in 2011. Progressing rapidly through the ranks of racing, he made his Formula One debut in 2018 and, a year later, signed with Scuderia Ferrari, becoming the second-youngest polesitter in the sport’s history at the Bahrain Grand Prix. To date, Charles has won eight Grand Prix titles and achieved 52 podium finishes. In 2026, Charles has already achieved a strong start of the season driving his Ferrari Formula 1 with 2 podiums in 3 races.
The son of a hairdresser, one of three brothers, it is amongst family – including his wife, Alexandra, and beloved miniature long-haired dachshund, Leo – that he finds he can be truly himself. Calm, loyal, grounded and ever curious, finding balance away from the high-energy and glamour of the track, Charles is also a pianist and composer and has shown a keen entrepreneurial spirit, investing in young businesses that are most meaningful to him.
