All right, gentlemen, let's talk about something that I've been dealing with for a very long time: grey hairs. So, my dad's side of the family, everyone has been grey before 30, and I started getting grey hairs around 24 years old. So, though this is great for job interviews because you look like you have a little bit more experience, this is not so great when people twice your age think you are the same age as them. So today, I'm going to test out L'Oréal Men Expert One-Twist Hair Color. And basically, what this is is a one-stop shop to naturally fade away those greys and give you a natural look. So all you need to do is twist it, shake it, pop the top, comb it through your hair, let it sit for five minutes, and rinse it out. And as you can see, this is the before, this is the after. The greys have faded very, very naturally, and this lasts up to six weeks. This stuff is the absolute best. Easy to use. Not messy. Not expensive. Doesn't stain your skin. I love it. I've been buying this from Walmart for quite a while now but they just quit stocking it for some reason. I love using it so much that I'm about to panic. Please don't tell me they're discontinuing it. I truly hope not.

I have been using this product for the last 4-5 months and the results are good. But It always works for the first time. I usually need only half the bottle for dyeing and that works fine. The remaining portion however no good and doesn't work at all. Is that how the product is designed to work? one-time use only per bottle?

Works Great!!!

I replaced “Touch of Grey” with L’oreal One Twist shade 06 one year ago and it has been great. Easy to apply and lasts 5 weeks between haircuts with just a little grey starting to appear at the end. After using it I rinse it out then put on hair conditioner first then after a couple of minutes I use a color preserving shampoo. It seems to lock in the color and the I use the same shampoo only daily. My hair stylist at the beauty salon asked me what i used because she thought it looked very natural. She didn’t think the salon would do any better.

Producto excelente, muy fácil de usar que no requiere tanto despliegue de cosas. Ahora se ha vuelto muy difícil de encontrar y lo echo de menos. Espero podáis reanudar su distribución.

Works Well, Looks natural!

After 25 years of not dying my hair I was afraid to try this, however my grays were really coming through and I needed to try it. It worked out well and covered my grays! The one small downfall is after a week and a half the grays are naturally coming out again I wish it would've lasted at least 3 to 4 weeks

Tried two different colors same color results

First time I used the medium/light brown #5 and while it was easy to use and coverage was good, the color was a dark black/brown like shoe polish. Seven weeks later I tied again, this time with light brown #6 and the results were indistinguishable. Not a good match nor natural color. Not till week 3-4 did I no longer look like my grandfather who used some Grecian formula garbage. I can’t recommend these colors at all!

There are many reasons why haircolor results can come out too dark. Once you have color-treated hair, we suggest following the touch up application method to achieve optimal results. Otherwise, by doing repeat full head applications, due to the hair's porosity, you are left with a haircolor result that is much darker than what you intended. Make you feel young with this products

I have been using this from last 2 years. It works perfect with Indian black hair with the product Natural black colour. I use it for my beard and head. Turns my gray hair to natural black and make me feel young again 😊 well done on formula. Lots of people ask me what is this brand.

First time user, last time user

First time using this product and will not use it again. I did exactly what the instructions said and the tab in the center broke off and didn't allow the color to come out of the container freely. I ended up squeezing the product (which had to squeeze extremely hard) into my hand and applied that way. Since it was my first time, I didnt keep it on the suggested 5 minutes and thankfully I did not, it came out a LOT darker than what I thought it would. I will NOT use this product again.

Quality control lacking and manufacturing defects

I bought this product from Walmart, When I tried to twist off the plastic opener according to the directions, it failed. Nonetheless I purchased another product from Walmart again, and the same problem...the plastic opener is very feeble and breaks off easily without allowing the dye to flow out ...very disappointed..

I apply this color on my hair and followed the instructions on the box. I took the shower and see no difference on my hair. It fake color and do not wast your money. I bought it at from Walgreens store.. I have very bad experience using this product

I love this hair dye as a woman. I was spending so much money at the salon and the dye was not covering my gray. My boyfriend used this dye and I decided to try it. It’s amazing colors my gray completely in 40 minutes. I use 3 boxes for my hair. Thank you Christine

I just used it for the first time ,I have used just for men for decades. There is not enough color in the bottle for a man with a full head of hair and the applicator is very hard to use on top of it you don't have a version for mustaches and beards.

I like the simplicity of the use

Love the product. Only wish it was not a one time and toss it out. Especially since men mostly have short hair. So it's waisted. I tried using it a second time and it dose not stay in. Also. It would be nice if you made a smaller version for mustache and beard. I have to use it on both which is fine but, again most of it is waisted.

Great product But The Affects Wear Off Super Fast

I really love how this product goes on and the coverage. My only complaint is that the affects only last about 5 days by day 7-14 you need to purchase and apply again making it an expensive solution compared to JFM. The package says 6 weeks but that’s fiction.

Not meant for second use.

It just work only first time I open the bottle. After use I closed the bottle and kept it. After few weeks when I felt should use it on the visible patches again then it didn’t work at all. I can’t use full bottle in first time only coz I don’t need that much in single use.

Too dark!

I’ve been using Just for Men for years, the medium brown color was out of stock so I purchased this product. Wrong choice! My hair is now dark dark dark brown… I guess I’ll have to wait 6 weeks for the color to fade and WILL NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN.

Don't buy it!!!!

Hard to apply. Color was LIGHT BROWN and came out almost BLACK. I do not recommend using this product.

Finished color is not close to the stated color.

I have used JFM for years. Walmart did not have the Light-medium 35 in the brush form so I decided to purchase L’Oréal light-medium 35. I followed the instructions exact & left it on 5 minutes. It is very dark brown & now I’ve got to do something to lighten. I would not buy this product again. In addition to terrible color it is very hard for my wife to get out of the bottle.

Convenient and mess free way to getting hair color

This is a great product that I never realized I needed until I got it. I have to get my hair colored every 3 to 5 weeks. It often involves an elaborate process. This is just convenient. I didn't have to mix and didn't have to use brushes to color up. The instructions were very clear and so I could get it done in a short time. Appreciate the addition of sample pack. I tried it before using the full product. I am sure it is valuable for first time users. Color wad good. It's only a week since I used it and didn't see any fading yet. The packet says it fades over 6 weeks. So will have to wait and see. For someone like me who travels quite a bit, this one is handy. I don't have to waste my weekend getting hair colored. Rather take one of these on the trip and get coloring done on Monday morning. Gives more time with family when I am home. Definitely a huge plus for me from that front. The previous method required carrying packs and mixing at the hotel, etc. Which I didn't feel comfortable doing. On the down side, packet says dispose off as this might burst. Not sure what happens at the garbage facility though! Hopefully it wouldn't burst on someone's eyes while there. I wouldn't want it on my garbage bin until trash pick up. Another down side is that I didn't use the full bottle as I have short hair. I ended up throwing it away anyway since it said it would burst. Felt like a lot of waste for a single use product. Otherwise a great product packaging. Usability wins.

Pleasantly Surprised

Buy it. Use it. You will love it! I have used other products in the past which I believe was noticeable when you apply to your hair. This product gave me a much more natural look and covered the grays that I did have. It has been 2 weeks since I tried the product and my grays are still covered. After a few washes with the other products I have used in the past, the color came back right away

Easy and Effective

This product did its job of dyeing my hair to a natural black color. The instructions were easy to follow in applying the dye with the applicator on the bottle. It took some time to get use to squeezing the bottle and applying the dye at the same time but it's overall user friendly. The smell was a bit strong in the beginning but it does fade away quickly. I like the fact that you need to only leave the dye on for 5 minutes. I didn't have to use the whole bottle as I have mostly short hair. The color of the dye was natural and it did a pretty good job of covering all the gray hair. Overall this product is easy to use and efficient.

Great haircolor

It was quite easy to use and get colored hair that lasts long. I have medium length hair and felt sufficient to get full coverage all over but could be less if you got a long hair

    Is this dye permanent or demi permanent? This site calls it permanent but that it washes out in 6 weeks (that implies demi). Will this leave a line of demarcation?

    Hello. I have used the product for the first time. But the simulator suggested a color that turned out to be too dark. Can i apply another lighter color right after the first one so i can lighten out a bit.

It is best to shampoo with a clarifying shampoo for a few weeks before selecting a lighter shade of color. This color will fade with shampooing preparing your hair for a lighter shade of color.     Hi, your product worked great, a little too good for what I was looking for. You brought me from the 70’s to what I looked like in my 30’s. Is there a way to get more of a salt and pepper look either by streaking the color or washing out sooner?

We know how disappointing it can be to look forward to a new application of color only to find that your results are not what you expected.
