This is a review that has been long overdue. First off this line of Loreal like many other Loreal newer, and/or changed ingredients or discontinued products changed for something else. Whatever the case may be this is just like all the other newer products of Loreal experience for me, a failure. I have been using Loreal for 30 years. I love Loreal, or at least I am now admittedly going to say this is a failure that does not even begin to cover my hair let alone change my hair color. By that, I mean the roots of the gray. Recently, I attempted just streaming at the roots and concentrating more on the midsection of my hair with the ends and after 35 minutes it did not even change, alter, or do anything to my hair that even remotely changed my hair for the purpose of the product's intent. Once again, I am wondering why I bother with products that keep raising their prices and don't do anything at all. I won't be spending money on this or any of Loreal's products any longer. Consider myself served, my wish of things working like they say they will has given results of my eyes getting infected, face breaking out, and money wasted on the color that does not color my hair or even when it does in that now rare chance that it does, it washes out in about 3 to 4 washes not 8 weeks worth.

This color is the best. My stylist tried to recreate it in her shop and said she can't even come close, so I'm still doing my hair at home! Love the look and feel of my hair with this product. Makes my hair think and shiny and people think it is natural.

Until I discovered Age Perfect in 8N Medium Natural Blonde I desperately tried to color my hair to obtain a natural look while blending out the gray....actually my hair is white....to no avail. The ends were too dark, the roots were too light and it did not shine and my scalp was itchy. I don't remember why I tried Age Perfect six months ago BUT THE STUFF IS AMAZING! The color is even and tonal, blends out the gray(s) & the white(s), and my scalp does not itch! And the best part is friends and strangers comment on my beautiful hair. It doesn't get better than that! Thank you L'Oreal!

This is the only hair color that has both highlights and low lights on the brassy tones. It is comparable to a salon highlight, low light and evening toner all in one. Please do not discontinue this product. Thank you.

When I was younger, I would jump from one hair color line to another. Whichever one had the color I was looking for for the right price. But...hair needs extra care as we age, and it's harder to cover grey hair no matter how few you have. When I found the Age Perfect line in L'Oreal, I was hopeful. When I found the perfect color that also came with layered-tone technology, I was hooked. My daughter is amazed that I can get such a professional looking hair color out of a box. I have natural medium brown hair with a lot of grey throughout. But no one suspects I wasn't always a blonde with the help of Age.Perfect Light Natural Blonde permanent hair color. And I'm certainly not going to tell them otherwise!

This is the second time I have used this product. Since it is "Age" targeted, it would seem to me you should make everything easy to access. Without any exaggeration, it took me between 5-10 minutes to open the gloves to use. I tried finding the opening, blowing into them, rubbing them between my hands, using a fingertip paste, etc. I FINALLY happened to pick up my thinning shears, cut into a corner, ripped off the jagged corner, and then blew into them. That was utterly ridiculous. PLEASE make these gloves more age compatible.

I tried this product for the first time since I couldn’t find my usual product. I was very happy with the results. I was happy to see an easier way to open the color tube. Not having to puncture an opening helped to avoid a mess. The final color was very natural and covered my grey hair very well. The only reason for a 4 star rating was the comb tool pulled too hard on my hair and I realized it is not recyclable! Why add more plastic to our environment?

I’ve been using this product every month for 15 years. I get compliments on my hair at least twice a week. I switched from another L’Oréal product because my hair looked dry and damaged. This product is the best. It’s multilayered, covers my gray and doesn’t tear up my hair. Please tell me it’s not being discontinued.

Best hair color on the market

I have been coloring my hair with L’Oréal hair color for 22 years. I have always used the light blonde for grey coverage. I now use the age perfect formula and it is amazing. It is not a flat color and it looks so much more natural. I love it!! I’ve tried others when this was unavailable. Not even close. Please make this forever!!

Beautifully and completely colors mature grey hair

If you have grey hair that is difficult to color, this box will work. Use it if your hair is more than 50% grey or you will get a dark result. Years ago I used one of the soft golden blonde shades (8G or 9G). My hair is not 50% grey. My hair turned out golden brown! Too dark. I now used color 9N, light natural blonde to color my washed-out light red hair that is no longer red. My hair is blonde, not too dark, not brassy and fresh looking. L’Oreal Age Perfect completely covers grey hair and leaves your hair sparkling with color.

I have used this product for the first time recently and 9N looks just like the regular L'Oreal product I have used for many years. Although not bad, it didn't come anywhere near the color I have experienced before . The best word I can find for the look is "mousy" and not attractive at all. I'll be switching back to the lightest or natural color of your regular product..

Age Perfect Haircolor - dark soft golden brown

I love the results from this haircolor over and above the other L’Oréal excellence products for my now mostly grey hair. It covers really well and my hair is healthy and full. I do have a complaint—. It is impossible to find as if L’Oréal does not promote it. I would assume many people would love this haircolor type for mostly grey if they could just find it.

I used the Light Natural Blonde. It really does look totally natural. I first used it the day before I got my hair cut. I asked what she thought about the color and she agreed with me about it looking so natural and she really liked also! Note: My natural hair color (with blonde highlights) as I aged had turned into a dark ugly brown!

As an older woman my hands have arthritis. I find it VERY!!! difficult to squeeze the colorant out of the metal tube into the plastic application bottle.
Is there a way to put a slit in the applicator brush that the tube can be inserted in to wind the tube to empty it? Like a toothpaste squeezer.
