Disappointed

Purchased the extra intense liquid eyeliner pencil. It WAS great until I realized you can't turn it to get more but you have to sharpen it. I used a make sharpener that I have and it broke. For what the product cost I was very frustrated and upset. It Was a great product for only a few uses but once you need more you can't use it.

Might have been good if I could sharpen.

I could not sharpen pencil. Even tried using a knife. Not aware of separate sharpener. should include & add a few dollars. Very disappointed

L'orealSharpener doesn't work on L'Oreal products

This sharpener made by L'Oreal does not sharpen L'Oreal infallible pro lash longwear pencil, it shreds the pencil tip and basically eats it.

I have this sharpener and love the Infallible Pro-Last pencil but cannot sharpen it properly with the Loreal sharpener.

Not impressed at all. Waste of money

The very first time I tried to use the pencil, I took the cap off and the tip of the pencil came off with it. Tried to sharpen the pencil, it wouldn’t work. Went on line to see what I was doing wrong, saw the recommendation to buy the L’Oréal pencil sharpener. Purchased it and it did not work either. Very frustrating, was a waste of money and time.

Useless and painful to use

I agree with the review that you only get use until it needs to be sharpened because you cannot sharpen it. And when you try, you get all those pointy WOODEN pieces scratching your eye! What a horrible product! I will never again buy a eyeliner pencil that must be sharpened (who does that in this day and age) and never again buy any L'OREAL product.

Good but not user friendly.

Just like _all_ the other reviews, the L’Oréal infallible pro last eye liner pencil dies not sharpen but is useless when you need to sharpen. I did what another user suggested and poked through the bottom and slowly pushed up and viola, now it’s usable.

I have a German-made eye liner sharpener that looks just like the one in the picture--blade is sharp, unused--nothing wrong with it. I cannot get the plastic stem to turn on the blade and sharpen the expensive little color-stick inside. What am I doing wrong?

Awful, but with a fix!

You cannot sharpen the pencil end or twist the bottom to make it advance. BUT - my partner found the answer. Stick the blunt end of a kitchen skewer into the bottom end and VERY SLOWLY push up. Works like a charm. Shame on L'Oreal!

Waste of money

Sharpen? It’s plastic (not wood) so you are supposed to turn the bottom, right? The bottom turns but nothing comes out…it’s like there is nothing on the inside of the case. Ridiculous - and I typically like L’Oréal products. .

WORST SHARPENER

This is the WORST sharpener I've ever used. Buyer BEWARE!!!! I purchased the Loreal Infallible pro-last longwear eye pencil, I cannot sharpen it with this sharpener.

Make it so we can sharpen it already!!

Eyeliner itself is one of the best out there better than any I've tried at Sephora but what makes Sephoras product better is that you can sharpen the pencil to use it until you can no longer sharpen . This product and all that money loreal makes come up with a way to easily sharpen this pencil already!

Now what ? ! ?

I bought this Infallible eye-liner pencil by mistake, thinking it was the L'Oréal Infallible liquid eyeliner I had purchased before and REALLY liked. The pencil worked just great until it wore down to the wooden casing. I went back and bought the special sharpener but that doesn't work at all ! Now I am left with a useless product. Very annoying. Why can't you correct this?

How do you sharpen the infallible eye liner? I have tried L’Oréal’s sharpener along with other brand names. Nothing. It just eats it up. I love the eye liner but can only use it up to the point of when it requires its first sharpening

Suitable to use on the inner rim in the waterline. Eyeliner can be sharpened using a makeup pencil sharpener. For a more colorful look, use with another shade of Infallible Pro-Last Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner.

Sharpener eats the pencil without sharpening it, like others have written. Wasteful and very irritating. I like the infallible liner, but will find another without the sharpening issue.

waste of money

It is disappointing to see all these people with the same problem-not being able to sharpen their eyeliner pencil-& all L'Oreal has to say is thank you for telling us or they recommend to use a regular sharpener. If you read all of our reviews, that does not fix the problem. DO you read these reviews? Offering money back or another way to sharpen the pencil would be more helpful.

Waterproof pencil eyeliner

When I found this infallible pro-last waterproof eyeliner, thought is was a diamond in the rough!!! I started wearing liner on the waterlines ( it really makes your eyes “ pop” )... even got 3different colors !! After a month , now time to sharpen.... AWFUL !!! With new sharpeners and everything ! So disappointing. L’Oreal really needs to make this product in retractable !!!!

Doesn’t even sharpen L’Oreal eyeliner

I bought this to attempt to sharpen the Infallible pro-last eyeliner because customer service recommended it after I was having trouble with that eyeliner. No luck. There is no way to get a point on that pencil even if you follow L’Oreal specific instructions and buy this additional product as well.

This pencil sharpener ate up the outside of the pencil and never did anything to the liner portion. I really liked using this eye liner but have no idea how to get it back to its original lining shape!!! Suggests????

The pencil does fine until it needs sharpening. Then, apparently you need a special in by L’Oreal to sharpen the dang thing. My other sharpeners won’t work. Thanks for the hassle.
