I agree with debbie56! I've also used this product for decades and was very disappointed when you discontinued the charcoal or slate gray colors. I have very, very light grey eyes and black is too harsh. I give up on L'Oreal. I've only heard excuses from your company and requests to just try your newest product. I don't want your new products and have tried many with the same disappointment. So you've lost me as a customer I hate to say after 40 plus years. It's a shame you just are not listening to your loyal customers.

I'm a 73 year old women who has used the Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner for over 30 years. It's been the best, easiest to apply and the container lasts a long time. Recently, the liquid has had a strange smell and the rubber stopper keeps coming out of the opening. I thought it was a fluke, so I bought a new one. Same thing happened. I finally got one that the stopper stays put, but there is a unusual odor. It's a shame a great product has changed. Also, I can't find the brown color. At my age I'm trying to have my makeup look a little softer, therefore switching from black to brown, but can't find "BROWN". I've tried other brands in brown - don't like any of them. Please help us mature women look their best. Thank you!

I’ve been using this eyeliner since high school. I can’t find any other eyeliner that has an actual brush tip that isn’t filled or plastic. And it’s so much easier than those cake eyeliners.. It’s really easy to take off a spit if you mess up, but once it dries, it will stay on. If they ever stop making this product, I will be a disaster.♥️

Bring back the lineur intense felt tip!

I was a huge fan of their carbon black lineur intense felt tip liquid eyeliner for the last 20 years and now that they have discontinued I tried this eye liner. The applicator does not work well and there is not as much control or precision. The formula is different. It flakes off and doesn't stay on. I will be switching brands since nothing is similar to the felt tip one.

Waste of money

This is the worst eye liner I have used! I was a huge fan of their carbon black liner intense felt tip liquid eyeliner and now that they have discontinued I switched to this eye liner. The applicator does not work well- it’s messy and there is not as much control. The formula is super clumpy n flakes off everywhere and the liner does not stay on either… it flakes or melts away. I spent almost $13 for a product I will never use again. Please bring the the original Lineaur Intense back. Been brand loyal but now looking at other brands…

I've used this eyeliner for years. The last one I bought was different. I couldnt take it off, no matter what I did. Then my eyelids were irritated, either from the liner or all the scrubbing. I thought it might be because I bought it from Amazon, when I usually purchase it in CVS. So I bought a new one. Same thing. Did you change the formula and why? I dont think I can use this product anymore and I dont remember the last time I tried a different eyeliner. Are there any plans to return to the original formula?

Bad substitute for the original

New but Not Improved

I've used this product daily for the past 20+ years but the new applicator and formulation is awful. Does not apply smoothly and flakes. Please consider returning to the previous formulation. Until then, I'm on the search for a replacement.

THE best eyeliner I've ever used!!!

I've been using this eyeliner for a decade or longer And could find at the or Target closest to me so I tried the telescopic eyeliner and I was not impressed.
This Lineur Intense does not smudge and lasts from morning until evening with little to no touch up. Next time I'll wait to find a store that has this product in stock.

I don't know what happened here with this eyeliner. I've used it for years and I mean many years! It was great. They must have changed the formula because now it flakes off. This happened to me about a year ago. It had a funny smell and kept flaking off. So I went to another brand but still missing this one. So I thought the other day I would try it again. I put it on and sure enough it flaked off in spots. I wasted my money. I really wish they would go back to the old formula! It's a shame. I would not recommend this product now. Please please change the formula and go back to the old one.

Excellent , but I miss the brown /black color line

I have used the Lineur brush tip eyeliner for maybe 50+ years now.. its the Only one out there that flows smooth and easily on the lid. When they discontinued the brown and brown/black color i was so disappointed and felt you didnt care about auburn hair or blondes!! You only carry the black eyeliner..
Please dont discontinue this black eye liner with brush tip. The felt tip is horrible..very hard to the touch and does not apply easily and smoothly. I hope you will respond to this with good news.

Formula changed and I miss it in Brown!!!!

I agree with another user. I am 55 years old and have used this for years. The stopper keeps coming out and it has an awful paint like smell. It also dries to a glossy color, which is not appealing. I miss the brown. You can hardly even find liquid brown eyeliner anymore anyway. Black is too harsh as you get older, especially if you have lighter hair color. Please bring back the old formula and in brown. I hate all these felt tip eyeliners out these days!! Please!!!! ♥️

Short, choppy applicator

This eyeliner used to be my holy grail. The one I just purchased had an applicator so different and horrible than how it used to be. The lines are thick and gloopy. Seems like the materials are different now.

Sticky and impossible to remove

This is the worst eye liner I have ever used in my life - flaky look, and impossible to remove. I had a misfortune of trying on brand new eyelash extensions, and when I tried to remove it - 45 min later the flakes were still on my eyelid but half of my expensive lashes were gone. Please don't respond by telling me to use your Eye Makeup Remover, and how it is a fragrance-free, moisturizing formula gently removes waterproof and washable mascara and eye makeup in a cinch - it did not, nothing did! I tried all sorts of removers, and I still had to wait for a day for the remaining pitch black flakes to come off my eyelids. Unbelievable trash from a once good brand. I do not intend to use Loreal again, better not risk getting this experience with its other products.

I have used Lineur Intense for many years now and recently ran out. I searched everywhere to find it and finally realized that the container had been changed. The wand is Too long and I don't like the brush. Some change is good but not all. Please bring back the FELT TIP!

The liner Flakes

I used this eyeliner for years in the past, I loved the long flexible brush and smooth lines but something changed the last 3-5 years. Now it flakes within an hour of applying the liner. Within an hour the fragments are all over your face and the liner unravels. I am very disappointed that Loreal has made this once great product to a poor quality one.

I have used L'oreal products for many years and had been happy with most. The eyeliner I liked isno longer available so I tried Lineur Intense, which seemed similar. It is a terrible product. The brush is clumsy and the dried eyeliner flakes off and leaves little black spots on my face. Even after removing it with makeup remover I continue to find flakes. I'm very disappointed and will look for an eyeliner elsewhere

Please Bring Back the Black/Brown!

I have used this eyeliner for 30 years. I loved it! But when they dropped the black/brown I had to move to another product. Black is way too harsh for me. However, I have now tried 7 different company brands and none glide on as effortlessly as this one. PLEASE BRING BACK THE BLACK BROWN. While most Americans have black hair, there are still many of us who have brown or blonde hair. You are missing this demographic customer.

Not the same product

This was once the best liquid eyeliner on the market and now it's the worst. I have been using this eyeliner for 40 years and it used to go on so beautifully. I have been fighting with the application for over a year now and as it clumps, cracks and flakes and runs. I l loved the product back when the application brush was not inside the bottle when it was new. The formula has changed and I am not a fan. I am now in search of a new brush on eyeliner. I will be trying other brands as Loreal Paris lost a loyal customer.

Holy Grail Item - Flawless

This is a holy Grail item for me. I have used it for many years for my winged eyeliner. There is not another product on the market that I have experienced to arrival the level of control you can attain with this applicator. The formula itself does not irritate my sensitive eyes, goes on smoothly and flawlessly, and does not crack or smear. Despite that, it comes off easily when I try to remove it at the end of the night without any rubbing or remaining residue. I feel like the people who review it poorly just are not using it correctly. The application of it is a skill you must learn. I get compliments on my wing liner all the time and everyone wants to know how I do it so perfectly. It’s THIS!

Please bring back washable version

For many years, I have used this product and enjoyed it. Its tip is perfect and makes applying the line very easy. However, it seems that the formula has changed. It is now smudge proof. In the past, it was washable and preferable (in my opinion). The smudge proof formula creates little black "flecks" on my face as the day goes by and I have to use a makeup remover product to remove them. I wish I could find your original washable product again.

CHANGE THE FORMULA BACK!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!

I've been using this for 30 years. It would stay on all day without melting or smudging. Removing was a dream, it would chunk off in cold water. I thought the last tube i bought was defective. It was very difficult to remove and so irritating to delicate eyelid tissue. I was so embarrassed one day at work it totally melted all over the upper part of my lid like a racoon. NEVER IN 30 YEARS HAD THAT HAPPENENED!!!!!!!
I see from all the reviews from loooong time users that I'm not alone.
And you've also fouled up my tried and true telescopic lengthening mascara. It's even more of a nightmare to remove. It used to wash off on cold water too. Between the two I've had contact dermatitis.
I'm begging you to change them back, ESPECIALLY THE EYELINER!!!!!

too harsh, bold and hard to remove

I agree with several others. I have used this basic eyeliner for years and like the the brush for the effect I want. BUT now the new formula though it doesn't smear, is very hard to get off and gives a more intense effect than I like. I feel like I am tugging my eye lid just to clean it off. Wish you offered the classic formula too. I know todays style may be more intense and bolder eyeliner but I am set in my ways and don't like the change. I really like the Regenerist moisture cream and other Loreal products.

Safety Issue with eyeliner clumping.Hard to remove

Please change back to previous formula. The current Intense Liquid Eyeliner, no longer removes with ease. It leaves clumps on my eye. This week one of those clumps moved under my eyelid and I was up all night trying to stop the pain and remove it with eye drops! I finally put a warm damp washcloth across my eyes and laid in bed until I could fall asleep. When I got up I found the black eyeliner clump in the corner of my eye and removed it.Have used this product daily for decades and now I need to find something else. This is a safety issue and needs to be resolved quickly.PLEASE NOTE I AM NOT IN U.S. BUT IN CANADA. Looks like I need to check the US citizen box for this to be submitted though. I am in British Columbia where I purchased the product.

Difficult to remove

Ive also experienced a difficulty in removing this eyeliner from my eyelids. It leaves clumps on my face and it is so difficult to remove! I thought it was a bad batch so I bought another which clumped up after only a few uses. So I bought a third one and it also clumps up on the brush too. I am so disappointed because I have been using it for over 25 years! Now I have been looking for a different brand for a brush eyeliner as I can no longer use your product if I cant get it to come off easily. The product is not the same! Why did you choose to change the formula?

Poor performance

This used to be the best eyeliner you could buy but for sometime now it has failed. When it dries and I go to remove it before bed time its like removing concrete. I'm left with black flacks on my face and in the sink. I don't know if you changed the formula? you might want to go back to the original one!! I'm do disappointed and would like to continue to use this eyeliner but its jus to difficult to remove.

It's the best!!!

I've worn this product for many years and nothing else compares. I love the thin brush for a small even line or a graduating line toward the end of the eye. Tried several others and nothing comes close to this product.

Product is dangerous… Burns eyelids

This product was my favorite because it was, hands-down, the easiest to apply and to control. BUT, I will NEVER purchase this liner OR L’ORÉAL products again. Apparently, the formula for this liner has changed. The minute it touches my eyelid, I experience an intense burning sensation. Then my eye actually looks like it’s been burnt.
Clearly, this is just about making a product cheaper to manufacture, and Little to no concern about consumer experience or quality. Wow.

disappointing

I've used this product for over 30 years, and now they have changed the formula and it burns my eyelids. So much so that my eyelids are red & puffy. I don't understand why they changed it. It's now clumpy, and thicker and flakes off because it is much thicker. I've wasted hundreds of dollars buying more thinking it was just a bad batch or something, but no more. Very disappointed in Loreal for changing formulas on a great product, you have lost a longtime customer in me.

Stopped purchasing this liner. It comes off in clumps, sticks to your eyelashes, and has a odor to it. Not going to waste any more money. Loreal has found a cheaper way to make this and this is the result.

Formula has changed for the worst.

I have been using L'Oreal's Lineur Intense Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner for over 30 years. However it is not the same product today!
The old formula was very easy to apply and stayed on all day and even while sleeping with it on overnight. It was very easy to remove as it was washable and worked very well since I wear contacts
IThe new formula is thicker and harder to apply. Now some of it chips off while the rest of the eyeliner has to be removed with soap and water and a q-tip. It is also very harsh on my eyelashes. What has changed and WHY? Please go back the old formula.

Product has changed and is no good!!

I have been using this product for over 10 year now i am very disappointed with it. It is clumpy falls off in chunks when i go to remove it liner will not come off and sticks to my eyelashes. I bought 4 hoping one might be different then the other but all suck. What a wast of money!!
