Infallible Up to 24H Fresh Wear Foundation in a Powder

Was pleasantly surprised with this product. The texture of the powder is so creamy and goes on like a dream on the skin. I prefer using a buffer brush to apply the foundation since the sponge absorbs way too much of the powder. Really good staying power for a powder foundation!

I am conflicted on this one. It worked well, wore well, had wonderful coverage. But it showed off my wrinkles and dry patches like crazy. I have combo skin, and it's more dry in the winter. So powder foundations are something I struggle with. I think this one would be wonderful for me in the summer, but it just wasn't working for me now. No matter how I prepped, it always made my skin look dry and flaky. It settled in my lines and pores and made my dry spots worse. Even after exfoliating, moisturizing, using a hydrating primer and bb cream. Dry patches still stuck out badly. Other than that, it was great. The coverage was amazing. It went on nicely and was buildable so I could build it up if I wanted more. It didn't feel heavy or drying (oddly since it made my skin look more dry). It lasted all day without fading or oxidizing. It matched my skin perfectly, the shade was just right. I think this would work for me in the summer. I can wear something that's light when my skin is more oily and it won't feel heavy and sweat won't ruin it. But for now, it didn't work well. It would be great for someone in their early 20s that still has young looking skin. It's great working foundation for someone younger. But someone with more mature or dryer skin. I don't think it will work.
