Purchased this product and the Collagen Filler Cream-and ADORE both! Both products are lightly scented. Coming out of the jar this looks heavy-but it is a little thicker than a gel and not heavy. The Collagen Filler cream looks very waxy coming out of the jar-but is not when melted in hand before application. L'Oreal needs to prioritize the reviews from customers that purchased product-most of their reviews come from customers who received complimentary product.

I recently tried to replace my beloved Age Perfect Night but was frustrated to no longer find in on the shelf. I decided to try the Collagen Night Moisturizer, thinking that perhaps you had changed only the name. As others have noted, I immediately noticed the change in consistency to a texture not as easy to use. And the cream has lost the lovely scent that it used to have. Both changes are soooo disappointing. Have been studying other brands to find something I'll like better.

Disappointed - contains citronellol

I bought this product because the packaging advertised collagen peptides and niacinamide which are both great ingredients for aging skin. The website says it is allergy tested and suitable for sensitive skin. All sounds good and I had high hopes I would save some money with the L’Oréal products. Unfortunately, this moisturizer crushed my hopes. The texture is not smooth and creamy. It is very thick and heavy and has a light unpleasant fragrance. When I put it on my face and neck it initially felt moisturizing, but after about 10 minutes my eyes started to burn and my skin started to feel irritated. I went to L’Oréals website to read about the ingredients and discovered the product contains citronellol. I am allergic to citronella, and likely why I reacted. Also explains the fragrance, similar to citronella. I washed the moisturizer off and that helped alleviate the irritation. I’m surprised the dermatologist approved this product as suitable for sensitive skin and allergy tested because Citronellol has been classified as a potential allergen, and based on some of the other reviews I’d guess that’s accurate. L’Oréal may want to consider removing that stinky, skin irritant from their products. I still don’t understand how it can be allergy tested when it has a potential allergen in the product.

It smells very Musty

I am very disappointed in this Age Perfect night moisturizer, lot #20X601, it smells VERY musty, I cant even put it any where near my nose, that is how repulsive it is.
I have been a fan of L’Oreal products for years and use the eye serum, and other products.
Who wants to put a night cream on and try to sleep smelling a terrible musty smell?
Could there have been a problem with manufacturing?
I don’t know…But I will not spend my money on a product that is Name brand and smells absolutely horrible.

Very irritated

Upon using for first time my skin was burning and getting very red. After about 30 minutes I had to rewash my face because the burning did not go away. My eyes were also very sensitive

This made my face burn and itch.

I used this product after washing my face Sunday night, and woke up with a face on fire. My cheeks, nose and forehead were puffy and bright red. All day long my face itched and burned. I rinsed my face with cold water numerous times throughout the day and that did little to help. Also took Benadryl, which did not give much relief. It in now day 2 and my face is still blotchy and itchy.

Threw it away.

I used this new face cream once in the morning and again at night. The next morning I woke up with a red itchy bumpy rash and swollen eye lids. I’ve used other of your face creams before and never has a problem. Was there a bad batch? Unable to post photo.

As soon as I put it on my face burned. I always used L’Oreal age perfect night cream in the brown jar with the gold top, but couldn’t find it at the store. I thought this would be a good substitute. Nope. I left it on, figuring the burning would stop, but when I woke up my face still felt hot and is very flushed. I definitely won’t use this again! (Also very perfumy, which was unpleasant, and seemed oily when I put it on)

I am so disappointed that they have changed the age perfect night cream that I have used for years!! The scent of the new product is much too strong and the product irritates my skin. I am not sure why they changed the formula. I am now looking to another product line to replace what I loved!

Not the same as it was. DO NOT RECOMMEND

This is not the same as the old version. The old version was strongly scented but it did not bother my skin. This one burned it and i have welts or hives from it. Just beware. If you are looking for the old "AGE PERFECT NIGHT MOISTURIZER" (As depicted on the left of my photos) This is not the same. L'oreal has changed it and not for the better.

I had the same reaction as another reviewer that used the Age Perfet Collagen Expert Night Moisturizer. After the first evening I noticed a bump on my forehead, after the 2nd evening of use I have red itchy bumps on my forehead and neck. Will not use this cream anymore. It's been four days now with bumps on my forehead and neck. Not happy!

Allergic reaction

As soon as this made contact with my skin it starting burning. I thought maybe I have just rubbed my skin to hard. I used to for three nights and ended up with burning, red, flakey patches all over my face and the skin around my eyes started to swell. I can't figure out what ingredient in this I'm allergic to, sadly. This is a really rich creamy formula and I wish it had worked for me.

Good moisture for mid 30 year olds

The perfect night time moisturizer for me. I was so excited I can go to my local Walmart and find this! Performs better than some of my higher end moisturizers. Eager to try the day time moisturizer as well. My skin looked tighter and brighter, smoother as well after one use! I am in shock I am in love!!

Great product to use for maximum moisture and to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. I would recommend this product since it is light and non greasy. It's reasonably priced and you can find it in just about anywhere that sells makeup. Definitely worth trying.

Loreal Paris age perfect collagen expert night moisturizer for face did nothing to improve my wrinkles or elasticity. It did however make my face feel very soft and I also liked the thickness of the cream. I would recommend to younger people that are just starting their skin routine to include staying on top of their beginning wrinkles

The right texture and feels so good going on . I wake up feeling moisturized. Packaging is simple but looks expensive

Fragrance has changed—and not for the better

I have been using Age Perfect night moisturizer for a long time, and I was in love with the subtle floral scent. Sadly, the fragrance has changed, and much for the worse. Instead of a light natural floral scent, this cream has a sharp chemical scent. I bought a second jar later, hoping that maybe the first one with the chemical scent was off, but the second jar with the new scent smelled just as bad. I love this cream, but I am sorry to say that because of the change in the fragrance, I won’t buy it again.

Tried to a.m. cream and with the p.m. I had pretty much same results. It is a great product for hydration. However, I did not notice a big change in fine lines. I would still recommend for a daily moisturizer

I received this product

I received this product as a sample. First I couldn’t believe how much product I received. I love the way this moisturizer feels it isn’t to heavy and there isn’t a heavy sent. I am not sure if I have noticed any changes in my skin yet but I will continue to try.

Very recently I ran out so I purchased locally as usual and it smelled awful and very sticky had to wash it off! Ordered another jar off Amazon unfortunately same thing, has something changed in the ingredients? VERY SAD!!

This is a very smoothing, hydrating cream. The scent is much lighter than the day cream. I felt like it plumped my Skin after a couple weeks of use.

Age perfect night skin moisturizer

Great moisturizer but unfortunately not available in fragrance free. Perfume in this face cream irritates my skin. Please make a fragrance free option available for this great moisturizer.

Great Moisturizer

This is a great nighttime moisturizer. It does have a floral scent but it doesn't last long. Leaves my face smooth and soft. I would recommend this product to go along with the daytime SPF moisturizer. I received a sample of this product for my honest review.

It does not feel heavy smells pleasant and truly moisturizes!! I am very picky when it comes to moisturizer and I have to say it’s one of the best. I think it’s a great value paired with the day cream this is definitely a great investment for skin care!!! I have dry patches especially with the change of weather and this works great too keep my skin moisturized [product:loreal-paris-age-perfect-re-hydrating-night-cream]
