I saw someone with telescope mascara on and I liked the way it looked. I went and purchased my own and I will never use another brand of mascara in my life.

I loved my first tube! Was so excited to get another. I don’t know if something changed or what but I hate it now. It goes on so thick and clumps my lashes so bad. It’s such a fight and I kept my old wand to my other tube just incase it was the wand but no. I’m very disappointed

Worst L’Oréal product I have ever used. Don’t buy unless you want spider leg looking lashes. too much Product comes out on the applicator making it extremely wet upon application. The applicator is extremely flimsy and does nothing to separate lashes. I wish I had saved the packaging do I could take it back!

I’ve searched for a mascara that isn’t clumpy and actually lengthens and separates my lashes for years. I love this mascara and will no longer be scouring the make up aisles trying to figure out which mascara will be the best - here it is!

I have a 13 years old daughter and she got this telescopic and it's really great product. You jyst apply once and it seems like fake eyelashes. We just loved it.

I purchased this product after seeing the advertisement saying no clumps, can layer and can wash of with easily with soap and water. After spending over $10, I have found that all are untrue. This mascara can not be layered as the first layer already clumps your lashes. Once it dries, which takes forever, it takes days to come off! Even my makeup remover cloth doesn't remove! Definitely won't buy this again!

I bought my favorite waterproof mascara. Was in the pool, never put my head under water, however was splash a couple times. Mascara is NOT waterproof. I looked like I had a couple black eyes.

I really like the actual mascara but after a while the rim which reduces the amount of product on the wand either disappears into the lid or perhaps into the container??? So now it’s thick and gloopy all over the wand. Really frustrating. I’ve tried cleaning the screw threads and looking for the missing piece but can’t find it. Such a waste as there’s plenty of mascara left. This has happened twice so now I have two half full mascaras that I can’t use.

Clumpy, goes everywhere (except where it’s supposed to), and takes forever to dry!

I’ve been using this product for over 15 years. I really like it, but I do not like the gold on the outside it flakes off of the container. It’s all over my makeup bag and on my hands and face all the time it never used to be that way, but ever you’re using It’s awful please change it back or I’m going to change make up please look into it!!!!!

I love this mascara if I didn’t have it I would not be living it’s a must have and you need it trust me

i used to love this mascara and it used to make my lashes look outstanding. however, now i've noticed the formula has changed. it weighs my lashes down, flakes, and is super dry - alike to an old mascara, however, i will buy it brand new and it is like this. i miss the old formula!!! please bring it back. i had to switch to a different brand. this used to be my favorite. i'm heartbroken.

I’ve used telescopic mascara for a really long time but this year, I noticed a difference in the formula. The new formula clumps and does not build to lengthen the lash as the old formula did. It also smears under the eye and is practically impossible to take off. Very disappointed the formula has changed. Will need to buy a different brand.

I've been using this mascara for years and love it. But over the past year I've noticed that the container that the mascara comes in is different. The gold paint starts flaking off within a couple of days. It gets all over your fingers. I've even gotten the gold paint flakes in my eyes. I can't be the only one having theses issues.

I am saying the same. This was my favorite but bow my eyes itch all day. I am going to switch to another kind.

I have used original Loreal Telescopic mascara in the "gold" tube for more years than I can count, probably since it was introduced. There is nothing like it for lengthening my short, sparse lashes and the narrow wand makes it easy to get into the corners without making a mess around the eye. However, in the last 6-9 months (as a contact lens wearer, I change my mascara every 3 months faithfully, marked on my calendar) the mascara tubes themselves have been flaking their coating and making "gold" dirt specks on my face. When I speculated what the flakes might be, it then was readily evident after taking a closer look at the tube. I thought that the first tube with this issue might have been an anomaly, but sadly it was not. I also see where a non-Telescopic Loreal mascara generated a review with the same flaking tube problem. Please review your changed tube manufacturing processes and fix this issue. In researching this issue I was pleasantly surprised to see that this mascara is now a hit on TikTok (I am not on that platform). A great product in a (probably cheaper to manufacture) tube package that flakes will eventually hamper sales of this product. I really don't want to look for a different mascara, but may have to if the packaging issue continues. Thank you.

By far, this is the BEST mascara I have ever used. My eyelashes are now "73 years old" and are shorter and thinner but this Telescopic mascara separates each of my lashes and adds instant length. LOVE THESE!

I’m so sad to give this one star - I’ve used this mascara for over 20 years, but recently the formula was changed and it’s 100% different - clumpy, too thick, and difficult to remove. Please bring back the old formula! Thank you.

This has been my mascara for about a decade and I can tell they changed the formula because now it makes my lashes itch and my eyes burn. Doesn't last as long and clumps more.

This should no longer be called the “original” telescopic mascara. The formula has changed. It now flakes and is not removable with soap based products. I have worn this for 10 years. Very disappointed because there is nothing else that compares to your original product.

I have literally used hundreds of drugstore mascaras over the years. Out of the handful I have liked, they all were discontinued not long after launching which gets very frustrating. Except this one. It has been around for decades and that says that sales are through the roof and it is no wonder why! This mascara rivals many mascaras I have used that cost five times as much. It applies easily, and quickly gives a beautiful clump free lengthening effect. It has a very little volume, but for me I only really need length. And it does not look spidery or fake, the look it gives is flawless but natural. I absolutely love it and have been wearing it for years. I wish the waterproof version was as good - but as many waterproof versions do, it lacked the length and/or volume of the original. Love, love, love this and the price!

This has been my go to mascara for years, but no longer since the formula change! The new formula makes my eyes very irritated and watery all day. Also, like others have said it’s very difficult to wash off, even with makeup remover.

The Telescopic formula has recently changed making it incredibly clumpy and dry. It does not build well AT ALL like it used to. It’s not even a similar formula. I really thought I got a bad batch. This was my holy grail mascara for the past 15 or so years and now I can’t even use the mascara. I have recommended this mascara to friends and family over the years and they have said the exact same and have all discontinued using. Not to mention, this formula has made my eyelashes fall out and has irritated my skin. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!!!!!!

I have been using L’Oreal telescopic mascara for over 40 years. I love the skinny brush as I have curled long lashes to begin with and the brush gives me the best coverage. I have tried the L’Oreal with thicker brushes but it just doesn’t work for me. I will only use the Original Telescopic mascara and only the washable one. All my life I have gotten compliments of my pretty eyes.

I ONLY use this mascara, however my one complaint is that it dries out so quickly. Like, within a week if not less. I always close the mascara TIGHTLY yet it still dries out.

I have used the telescopic mascara for about 3 years now and absolutely swear by it. However, in the past couple months it seems like they have changed the formula and now the mascara leaves residue on my eyebrow bone (it never used to) and now seems like it comes off in little tubes which are much harder to remove that the previous formula. It comes off when I dont want to (throughout the day on my upper eyelid) and doesnt come off easily at night when I try to take it off even with micellar water like I normally use. I have bought 3 different tubes of this mascara hoping that it was some weird mistake but all of the new tubes now seem to have the same bad formula. I would love to see the old formula come back that smears off easily at night instead of tubing off and that doesn't leave residue on my face throughout the day.

I have been using for a while with no issues now the last two times I have not been able to get the wand back in the tube this is way to expensive to keep throwing it away very disappointed

Was so excited to get this mascara but after the 1st I used I couldn’t get the wand back in the tube. I tried everything but it wouldn’t slide back in for me to finish my eyes. And it was the only mascara I had with at the hotel for a wedding I was attending. So very disappointed in this product!!

I just purchased Telescopic Original and within seconds of applying it, my eyes began to burn and water. Sadly I can’t use it and basically threw away $10 by buying it. It’s been 20 minutes and they still are burning.
