I was seeking a product to blend away my warm rosey cheeks. I have always liked Loreal products and this product lives up to its name! Amazing. I applied a tiny amount to my clean skin and I do not need foundation, a tiny amount and I am good to go! Trust me, this product works!

Minimizer? It’s a Pore Highlighter for Me!

I tried this pore minimizer multiple days in a row with three different moisturizers (making sure it wasn’t that causing a problem). Each day my makeup looked cakey and every single penny nose was highlighted, front and center, with all my foundation going into it. So disappointing.

Extremely disappointed

Please bring back the matte setter…why would you leave the pink and green ones when they suck. I tried the pink primer as an alternative to the discontinued one and it’s awful, it clung to my makeup and made everything cakey and flake off. Extremely disappointed with your decision to discontinue the best primer I’ve ever used. Please bring it back.

Not for Sensitive Skin

I have fairly sensitive skin, as many with facial redness do, and my skin did not tolerate this Redness Eraser. I've seen it do a beautiful job on others, however my skin became inflamed and so uncomfortable that I had to wash it off. I've discovered that my face cannot tolerate Niacinamide, and it seems to be in SO many products, even ones claiming to be for sensitive skin. Sadly, my hunt for an effective redness reducer continues on.

I will absolutely be repurchasing this. This is by far the best primer. I have ice pick acne scars it makes a difference and blurs it. Trick is to let it set for a couple of minutes before applying foundation like with all primers it will pill a little if you don’t let it sink in for a couple of minutes. . I love everything about it-the scent, and the fact that it’s not that silicone slip and slide primer. I hate that greasy feeling. I love the consistency and It absorbs beautifully onto the skin and then put the foundation and you are flawless. I think this is absolutely worth it if it wasn’t a little steep in a price I would buy a bunch to have. It is worth the price though in my opinion, love it.!!!

Stop discontinuing Products that work

I can’t find anything that works as good as infallible matte-lock primer. That was the best primer for oily skin. It worked soooooo good. WHY mess up something that was perfect. This stuff I’d nothing like it and does not work. I’m have to go to eBay to buy infallible matte-lock primer. That’s crazy

Pills and Oxidizes Every Time

This primer oxidizes and pills under/over everything! I've tried several moisturizers, susncreens, and foundations under/over this stuff and it oxidizes and pills every. single. time. It makes my makeup look awful. I'm so bummed.

Definitely works/Great for oily tan or deep tones

I purchased it yesterday because it looked like a tinted primer. The wear and look of this primer on my face exceeded my expectations. I'm in the olive/tan range and I'm oily. It didn't get greasey and slippy on my face after work and it's hot out now. The color looks natural and matched me. I wore it alone without putting my regular foundation on top of it.

I use to dislike primers

My mom bought this and I used it. I generally dislike primers I've tried because they feel and look like they slide around even after it's suppose to be dry BUT THIS IS AWESOME! First time I've used a primer that I could see the difference immediately. I'm 40 yrs old and starting to see enlarged pores and texture. But it doesn't move! So worth it!! Thank you. I try my best to take care of my skin but it gets expensive. Like I said earlier, I wasn't a fan of primers at all until I used this. It made the foundation I like the least look great!

Need version for light skin

I bought this not knowing it was for TAN /DARK skin. The print was soooo tiny. I had to return it as I am not tan/darked skin.
Will there be a version of this product for LIGHT skin like you use to make under the name Studio Secrets Anti Dull Skin Primer? I loved that product and can't find it any longer. It adds just the right amount of color to offset my dull pale skin AND it's fantastic primer for the bit of foundation I then use.

This primer is super blurring &had my skin looking super flawless! I was very impressed by the formula, felt smooth & hydrating. I loved the smell of it as well. It worked great under my foundation &other complexion products. It also worked great on my bare skin without foundation. I love this stuff so much I am gunna have to buy another bottle - I am almost out of the first tube (I have been using it everyday for over a month). I highly recommend for anyone looking for that blurring effect with or without makeup! ♥️

Definitely a "Matte Setter"

This product is definitely mattifying! Typically, I have oily skin, but at the time of trying this product, I was experiencing dry skin, so I had to only apply this product to my nose (an area that was still oily). I would definitely recommend applying this product to ONLY oily areas, because it will keep your look matte, and potentially be too drying for dry areas!

I don't know how L'Oreal pulled this off but their Prime Lab Advanced Derm Primer is one of the most versatile primers I've ever used! Not only does it provide a perfect silky canvas for any brand foundation but it minimizes the appearance of my pores while it treats my skin with Alpha hydroxy Acid. This is going to be a staple in my morning routine!

This is unlike any other primer I've ever used. I tried to use it almost every day, after moisturizing. I saw a noticeable difference in my pores, especially wearing foundation. I plan on using the entire bottle before being permanently impressed haha It is extremely light. Glides over your skin without that oily feeling. I focused mostly on my cheeks instead of total face, so I may allow myself for all over usage now that my trial has come to an end.

In love with this primer!

I really fell in love with this primer, it worked amazing with my foundations (I switch between foundations all the time) so that's a huge plus for me! I feel as some primers just don't work well with other makeup but this one definitely stands out compared to the rest. I'll definitely be using it again and in the future!

I was so surprised with this primer! I didn't expect much but was amazed at how small my pores shrunk and how easy it was to apply makeup. It felt like everything went on smoother. I absolutely love how this sunk into my skin and just made everything easier. I would buy this again and again!

I really liked L'Oréal Matte Setter primer. L'Oréal is creeping up in price, but it's still better than the price of my high end primers and I get just as excellent of results. This does a good job blurring my pores and works well underneath my foundations and over my skin care/sunscreen.

It's a nice primer with a bit of a silky feel to it. It made my skin feel smooth, but I did get a bit oily throughout the day. Paired with the wrong products, it can peel off of your face.

This product is just excellent! It did what it said, blurred the pores under my makeup, and did not pill. I feel like adding skincare ingredients like AHA makes this primer better than most primers because it not only helps blur your pores but also has ingredients that help your skin's pores in the long run.

Surprising for a drug store primer

I love primers that include skincare elements, and this one is actually really nice, considering it a drugstore product. It did actually keep me matte in the places I placed the product, and layered really well between my skincare and makeup. Actually impressed.
Subtracting a star for their claim that it "balances skin over time". At the amount of skincare in this product, I can't imagine this is actually a measurable claim.

Doesn't work well with sunscreen

It beaded up like CRAZY when I applied it over my Murad spf. It would not adhere to it. I tried the next day but with a different sunscreen under it, and it didn't bead up, but it felt kind of rough on my skin, like an exfoliater. I stopped trying it after that.

Completely changed the application of my foundatio

I was shocked by this primer. I'm not quite sure which other primer I could compare it to. It's not super tacky but it's not like a lotion either. It sinks in and dries down quickly. I love my it cosmetics bye bye foundation and using this primer was a 1000% game changer in the Caribbean humidity. No foundation melting, slipping, or peeling. I was shocked to be so obsessed with this.
