I used this in already dyed hair, and I really enjoy the result. I’m not sure what your color will look like but this worked great on my roots and blended into the rest of my dyed hair. Looks good, no issues or irritation.

Beautiful Blackish shade

I have used this brand before and I loved it. The results are good. Soft black is dark in the beginning but slowly fades to a brownish black. It covers Grey's which is awesome! The maintenance honestly depends on you. Black shades always require a lot of work but the basic maintenance is easy just wash your hair in cold water and don't use sulfate shampoo. It does leave your hair soft and healthy.

I really love L’Oréal Paris Ammonia-free triple care color! The application is very easy and convenient, and it has a pleasant smell without the strong chemical odor. It covers my gray hair very well and leaves my hair looking beautiful, shiny and refreshed. I also love that it’s ammonia free. Overall, I’m very happy with the results and would definitely recommend it.

This hair color is very good quality. I left the color on for 30 minutes and it was easy to remove. It includes a small tune of shampoo and conditioner for the after treatment. The shade is vibrant. I will purchase this again.

Need two boxes for thick, long hair

This L’Oreal hair color nudes Brown 5 N
Was OK. I’m showing before and after and it took to my hair a little bit, but it didn’t cover all of my grades in the front of my hair. I have thick hair so maybe I need two boxes. But I do see in the after photos with me holding the hair color box that it’s been changed just not the way I expected it to be. I didn’t style my hair so this was after the color and letting it air dry. For me, I will not get it again and if I decided to, I would at least need two boxes. I am grateful that I was able to try this for free from influencer but I know because I have thick care I need two boxes if I wanna dye my hair.

I received this product for free from Influenster and Excellence in exchange for my honest review . I chose a really pretty light brown color which I’m obsessed with . It’s warmer than the light blonde I had originally. It’s easy to apply , I just followed the instructions step by step . The performance of this hair dye is great because it’s longevity has lasted longer then I thought and the durability it just has good has some high end products. I would recommend this product to everyone & I’ll definitely purchase this product because I’m getting a few grays so it great for those stubborn roots . Highly recommend !!

I dye my hair every six weeks or so to cover up grades, and this has been my favorite so far. It is different than other kids, because it actually kept my hair a natural brown instead of any brassiness showing through! It was fast and easy directions to follow. It included a conditioner, but also a shampoo! I felt like I left a spa by the time I was finished with my hair. I am thrilled with the color payoff and it did cover my grades much better than other kits! I will definitely be buying this again!

I am in love with the L'Oreal Universal Nudes Dark Brown hair dye! The color is amazing, it covered my grey, and it came off of my skin so easy! The application bottle has a comb which was great for blending it and ensuring coverage. It had a decent smell and I loved that it came with both shampoo and conditioner! It was so easy to apply and I love the shade!!! Fantastic product!

The only thing that this color is quite obscure if you want it, lighter, ask for the 6N.

This tint Loreal Paris 5N. I like it a lot, because it has no ammonia and does not smell ugly or itchy on the scalp. It comes super complete with its shampoo and conditioner, leaves the hair soft and shiny, covers the gray hair 100%.

Not coverin grays and don’t see much difference in color

I followed all the instructions and kept 30mins wait before I shampoo. But I guess for my thicker asian hair, I should have waited another 10 mins or so. I dye my hair because of greys around my face line and started dying from that area too but greys weren’t dyed properly and seemed similar to before. I was expecting something like brighter brown but it barely made darker brown. Before left and after right photo
However because there’s no ammonia, damage wasn’t visible. And the shampoo and the conditioner makes your hair feel very soft. I wish I can only buy those two - shampoo and conditioner. The effectiveness of the hairdye is almost nonexistent. Maybe 20% max?

I've been consistently dying my hair since high school. The results are always easy to achieve and look professionally done. A nice trick to remove the excess dye is Vaseline around your forehead and ears.

I haven't dyed my hair in a while and this was so easy not only to mix together but to apply, I have short hair so one box was enough for me . . The finished look is so nice. I leave my hair feeling nice and smooth all over color looks great.

Loreal still holding its title on hair dye

L’Oreal has always provided great product my hair is very damaged and this managed to stay on longer than any other dye I’ve used recently. The finish looks glossy and gives you great coverage. You have to read instructions on how long to keep it on as with any other hair dye. Please make sure this product is not going to irritate you by trying small portion of your wrist and take small amount of hair as instructed to get selected hair color and timing.. over all L’Oréal’s shampoo and conditioner smells freaking bomb.

Gentle formula but color depend heavily on your base hair

The product itself a great quality and left my hair feeling smooth and healthy. However, the final color didn’t quite match the preview pictures on the box. It came out much darker on me lightly because I applied it on unbleached natural hair. It still look nice and subtle, but keep in mind you may need to pre-lighten your hair to achieve a true 7N shade.

Fall’s New Hair Color

I wanted to go a little darker for fall so I chose L’Oréal’s Universal Nudes in Brown 5N. I love the fact that this dye does not have ammonia in it. I was able to close my bathroom door without feeling like I’m breathing in harmful fumes. I did have some grays mainly on the top, front and sides of my head so I was really hoping this would cover them. When mixing the color it had a thinner consistency than what I’m used to, but I felt that consistency helped absorb into the hair a lot better. There was a slight fishy smell to the product but it wasn’t anything that was super overwhelming. After applying the product I let the dry sit for about 30 min. The box suggested 20, but I lost track of time. After removing the product I applied the shampoo and conditioner that came in the box. They had a nice smell to them. They left my hair feeling soft and silky. I did notice some dye stained my skin but it wasn’t super noticeable. My hair dried into a dark brown with slightly red color. I was not expecting it to be so dark, but I actually love the color. I will definitely purchase this product again.

 Very easy to use. I appreciate that it is ammonia free as I try to not use hair dyes with ammonia. My hair did used to be red, therefore I think I’ll have to go in and dye it one more time to get the desired hair color.

I liked it because it covers very well even gray hair and I like that it does not mistreat my hair since it does not have ammonia. My hair looks a little darker than I imagine but maybe in a second wash it lightens a little more.

I had very brassy copper colored hair before I used this, so I didn't know what to expect after coloring, but I'm so pleased! It completely covered the copper color with no redness visible. The only word of caution I have is the color is darker than what is depicted on the model on the box. But the results swatches on the back of the box look darker (to me), so base your results on that, not the model. My hair looks shiny and feels good. The dye didn't saturate my grays, but made them look more like caramel highlights. But I also have low porosity hair, so it's always been notoriously resistant to hair dyes anyway. But for me, this is as good as it gets!
