Easy to use

This color was a little dark for me. It did make me look nice, but it washed me out for sure. It was very easy to use. I just followed step by step instructions. It wasn't as messy as it could have been, and the smell wasn't as harsh as I remembered. Overall, I would purchase from this brand, but I'd definitely go lighter with the shade.

Gave to my sister in law since this is her color. Cover all her grays really well. Didn’t bother her. She has a sensitive scalp. Make her hail feel really soft. Says she might get again.

Beautiful color & easy

Absolutely love this hue and vibrant boxed color. It didnt dry my hair out at all and was so easy to use. Gloves are a must, or u will def stain urself...the smell was not horrible like in the past when I've used box hair dyes.

The application process was easy. The color looked more black. The shade of blue should have came out more than it did. My hair line was stained even when using a grease so it wouldn’t. The color came out better when it was conditioned.

Good grey coverage

This product was great for covering grey hairs but I don't really notice the blue, just the black. The dye itself does smell strong but the conditioner smells nice. I have not seen much fading after a few weeks.

Good initial color - careful on cleanup

Color wise - I'm impressed at how dark this went, especially in my hair! As for cleanup - definitely do this in a stainless steel sink, not a porcelain one or in the shower!! And the skin staining went away after a few days like all loreal hair dyed have in my experience. Don't know yet how much this will fade after washes - this is brand new fresh color.

I don’t think I let stay on long enough, it looks different in the sun though, package is mess proof and clear instructions although I did less time.

Good hair color

This product was messy, I got it on my wall and body. I didn't notice a strong scent. I have gray hair and now they are blue! I don't mind that, but with other products, that doesn't happen. It was a short 25 minutes for it to cure. Overall I would only purchase this when my usual hair color is out of stock.

Used the color on my mom and it didnt take to her hair the way we thought it made her hair oily so probably wont use it again l. It’s really heavy for thin hair so i wouldnt recommend

This hair dye worked very well. I really like the color and the consistency. It was pretty easy to apply It didn’t leave my hair feeling dry, left it shiny.The only downside side for me was the smell

I recently tried L’Oréal Paris Preference Shade 2 Blue Black, and I’m honestly impressed with the results. The color is a rich, deep black with cool blue undertones that really catch the light without looking unnatural. It gives my hair a glossy, almost mirror-like shine.
The application process was straightforward and easy to follow. The formula wasn’t overly drippy, and it distributed evenly through my hair. I appreciated that the scent wasn’t overpowering compared to some other at-home dyes I’ve used.
After rinsing and conditioning, my hair felt soft and looked noticeably smoother. The color payoff was intense and covered my hair evenly, leaving no patchiness. So far, the shade has stayed vibrant and hasn’t faded into a dull tone.

This L’Oreal Paris blue black hair dye did such a good job coloring my hair!! It was easy to apply. Very easy to mix!! It did tingle a little on my scalp. Didn’t smell too terrible either. It rinsed well out of my hair too!!

Great coverage for gray

I'm so pleasantly surprised that I didn't make a big giant mess doing my hair. I love that it covered my gray hair giving me back years in my look...I look younger with darker hair. The formula was not horrible and chemically smelling it was tolerable and covered very well. I'm a huge fan of this color blue black and it really looks great!!
This is an easy to use at home color treatment that goes on easily and is not super drippy if you apply it eventually thru your hair.
I like my hair after throughoughly washing and rinsing well before styling. It looks great and didn't leave it dry feeling at all.

I love how easy this system is all in 1 box. I don’t have to make sure I have developer and gloves at home to dye my hair. I dyed the underside of my hair and it covered perfectly and added demension.

The instructions were very easy to understand. My scalp is not the color of the dye. It had a nice consistency it didn't run everywhere. As far as texture I'm sure anyone can use it. As you see in the before and after the dye took really good.

This is decent hair dye. This was easy to apply, just like most where you mix two of the products together and put on your hair. I left it on my hair for 25 minutes like it said to and that seemed to be fine. My hair was dye during rinsing but that is to be expected. The conditioner provided did a great job bringing my hair back to life. This didn't hurt my scalp or anything and the scent was decent, maybe a little less strong smelling than most.
The color wasn't as true as I was hoping. I like my blue black hair dye to be a bit bluer, but it's decent.

Will be for a lighter hair type

I think the box is cute and eye catching. But I now know that this formula isn’t good for my hair. I didn’t experience any irritation or fallout but it left my hair brittle even after the step 3 of conditioning. I didn’t see the blue within this blue/black but I’ll try it again in a different brand.

I love the color

I love the color payoff of the big dye. It is gentle on the scalp, it is durable and it does not irritate my skin. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

Strong ammonia odor during application

L’Oreal’s 2BL Black Sapphire is the gold standard for a dramatic "raven" look. It’s perfect if you want high shine and a cool, midnight-blue tint rather than a flat, natural black.
The Deep, inky black that reveals a sharp navy shimmer in direct sunlight.
It is great for grays; the gel formula provides saturated, even pigment.
The pacakage Includes a "Shine Protect" conditioner that creates a high-gloss, glass-hair finish.
I do not like is the strong ammonia smell during application, so make to keep a window open. Keep in mind that
the blue tones are the first to wash out, usually settling into a standard black after 3–4 weeks.

Lasts long!

I’ve been coloring my hair for years however it’s been increasingly difficult to cover my gray without the color washing out so quickly. I tried them all in this one lasted about five weeks which is almost about two weeks longer than the others. I definitely will buy this brand from now on.

I like L'Oreal products, and this box of hair dye was easy to mix, and apply. I have long hair, and was able to color it completely with a single application. It does have a strong smell. The color last for weeks without fading.

While the shade blue black is harder to see on darker colored hair I can say I’m still able to see some of that blue tint. I love the overall look and the color. Everything needed came in the box including a bottle for easy application

Very good permanent color, not a strong frag, easy to use, easy to wash after apply the product. The consistency was great, cover the gray hairs. Good appearance after application. It’s pretty dark color if this is what you are looking for.

Covers My Stubborn Grey's Near My Ears.

I've used this product before and this is one of the only brands that covers the greys near the area behind my ear where my glasses sit. The color result is accurate to what is shown on the box as well. I love the black gloves. This color also works great on my eyebrows. My only thing is that it does have some splash back so my kitchen pillow has a little blue in it. Conditioner that it comes with is also great.

Excellent coverage of gray hair! I wasn’t sure if I’d like the color but I’m loving it and have received several compliments. Super easy to apply, process and rinse out. It left my hair feeling silky and soft. I’m definitely going to be purchasing L’Oréal blue black hair color again.

I have 4c hair and this was so easy to apply, the instructions were very clear, rinsing was easy without a lot of staining, the results were absolutely perfect, my hair was soft and shiny and the color is so deep and rich, after several washes the color has not faded, I am beyond satisfied

I like this blue black shade. It’s dark and shiny. When the light hits it right it gives a bluish color. It was easy to apply and not too messy. My hair felt great after dying.

My hair is naturally black and I’ve been letting it grow out. It’s been pretty dull due to previous bleaching and dying, but this hair dye has given it so much sheen/shine. I can’t see the blue tint too much but it makes my hair look healthier.

First time using Preference. Always had my hair professionally colored, but the place i go has increased price tremendously. It is always hard to find the perfect red shade. They are all either too bright, too dark, or just too red. I found Luis interesting color and decided to give it a shot. It is very easy to apply. Don't over think doing the back. I just squeezed lined and rubbed into roots all around then pulled color through the rest of my hair. I have thin hair down to my waist. I wasted a new box because I thought I would need two boxes. I only used one. Followed all instructions to the T. Rinsed, conditioned and used a hair dryer to dry it fast so I could see end result. I was amazed. Yes, it blue black No more spending hundreds on hair color. And I'll be able to keep up with it. Thank you Loreal for this specific color!!!

New look

Incentavised.
This hair coloring kit was easy to apply with great instructions. The mixture was too strong smelling for me when applying it to my hair.
Upon rinsing, my hair felt damaged but as soon as applying the conditioner and rinsing that out my hair felt softer and better.
I have a lot of greys so at times it's really hard to cover them all. This product did an okay job at covering mine.
I do love the new look and my hair is not as boring now.

I was nervous to use this because my hair was damaged and growing out from a bad bleach job. I was very pleased with the outcome first the color is very strong and stands out and have not had a lot wash out since doing this 7 days ago: also the glossing solution did magic on my dead hair it is so shiny and removed the frizz i was shocked. i cut dead ends off and receive so many compliments daily a

I trust loreal brand more than others

It's more like jet black for me after doing my hair. It was covering all my grey hairs which is amazing because that's all I see now a days after turning 40. Instructions are easy and I did it all by myself. Love that it comes with a conditioner too. It was a good black texture and rinsing it was easy to do.
