I had purchased the original Elnet spray, only to throw it out after the first use, loved the hold but HATED the fragrance! as soon as I read the e-mail L'Oreal sent me, I literally went to the store to buy the fragrance free version. hope they keep bringing more fragrance free formulas in their skin care line as well, I think L'Oreal is losing a lot of customers to Olay and Neutrogena because they regulary have fragrance free versions of their product.

Not really unscented

This hairspray works, but is not unscented. I'm sure that it's better than the original, but the ingredients even say there is fragrance. For me it can be an initial problem then it quickly goes away. But if someone were really allergic to scents, it is unfair to label this unscented. Surely you can actually make this unscented!

Solid product for the price

This hairspray holds well and doesn’t make my scalp itch which is nice. I deducted a star because it makes my baby hairs stand up like crazy at the crown of my head as most other hairsprays do unfortunately

Unscented hairspray that holds hair

This product made me fall back in love with hairsprays again. In the past, I never really enjoyed using hairsprays because of the scent and how strong they smell, how crunchy they make my hair feel and how stiff they can look.
But using this hairspray surprised me. Not only is it unscented but it helped to keep my curls defined, intact and bouncy! Additionally, it has no scent which made it easy to wear on my hair without getting a headache. Lastly, the button to press down on the hairspray is very user friendly and product was able to dispense easily and evenly from the nozzle.
All in all, if you’re in the market for an affordable hairspray that is unscented and holds your hair without that crunchy, stiff feeling, give this one a try.

This hairspray is amazing. It didn’t make my hair feel crunchy, but held the style to the best of its ability. I have very frizzy hair and this did a nice job of keeping it relatively frizz free. After brushing it out, it felt totally normal and my nerve was so sore unscented it definitely has a scent.

I have been really enjoying Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Unscented Hairspray. It keeps my hairstyle in place throughout the day without making my hair feel stiff or crunchy. I especially like that it is unscented so it doesn’t compete with my perfume or irritate me with a strong fragrance. It provides reliable hold while still allowing my hair to to look natural and touchable. I love how it gives my hair noticeable volume and lift without weighing them down.

I really like this hair spray. It has a clean, light finish with no stickiness or residue. The hold is strong and keeps my hairstyle in place all day. You only need a small amount and it works well for reapplication without buildup. It also gives natural volume without making hair stiff or heavy

A hairspray that actually holds your style for long

Few amazing things about this hairspray. This is not a new spray but an old favorite of many. I loved that it doesn’t feel sticky or heavy in your hair. My curls hold all day with this spray and the scent is decent. It is a big bottle so if you use it occasionally like me , it will last a long time . I love the simple packaging and spray bottle is easy to hold and use.

Great hold while still looking flexible and flowy! We were able to straighten curly hair and use product to keep the curls at bay for a photo shoot. Product washes out easily and would def buy!

Perfecto to keep hair styled all day long

Keeps my hair wavy all day long! When I say wavy is that my waves look fresh and keep the volume. I love that the scent is so absent because of my sinus so if makes me feel comfortable using hairspray again. It’s easy to wash out that’s absolutely not a problem since it won’t leave my hair hard or sticky. I recommend this product 100%!

I used this on my friend in st coix! Its so humid and her hair is very curly/wavy. It held her natural curls and kept her hair half up half down all night! It worked so well for her and for me. I really really hair does feel too too crunchy and hold really well!

I really like this L’Oréal hairspray. I use it on my roots to add volume, and it gives my hair great lift without feeling crunchy or stiff. My hair still looks natural and moves freely after application. The scent is pleasant and not overly perfumey, which I appreciate. It's also very affordable for the quality you get. Overall, a great hairspray that delivers volume and hold without weighing hair down.

The hairspray is lightweight to hold and the spray is easy to push. You don’t feel much residue if any. My hair didn’t feel crunch and it held for hours. Typical hairspray smell and so far a little goes a long ways!

The perfect aerosol hairspray!

I love this hairspray! It is perfect for keeping little flyaways in check but still gives a flexible hold that doesn’t feel sticky. The nozzle is a perfect consistent spray without any clumps that clog up. It adds a touch of shine without looking greasy.

I really was impressed by this hair spray! It truly is unscented which is nice because it doesn't compete with my perfume. There was some minor clumping because I combined it with another product (a dry shampoo) but it was a pretty strong hold and yet washed out easily. Overall 9/10

Using heat is the most reliable way to get straight hair to hold a curl, but you must prepare the hair properly.
• Prep: Always apply a heat protectant spray to dry hair to prevent damage and help add a bit of grip to silky strands.
• Secrioning: Work in a small sections. The smaller the section, the tighter the curl and the longer it will hold.
• Technique: Wrap the hair around the barrel and hold. Once released, pin the curl to your head with a clip or let it rest in your hand until it cools completely.
This hairspray from L' Oreal Paris holds my straight and hard manageable hair so perfectly! Thank you!

First of all, I would like to say that it has a light scent. The texture felt a bit sticky on my hands. I tried it on my hair both as a light mist and by applying a larger amount to specific areas. It provides good hold, although it didn’t work for creating a “unicorn horn” hairstyle—though that may be because I didn’t put enough effort into styling it. Overall, I think the performance is professional-quality. The spray nozzle works perfectly and distributes the product evenly. The bottle size is quite generous, which is great news for those with a lot of hair, as it should last a long time. It is also easy to brush out. Of course, when brushing, start from the ends of your hair and work your way up. As for durability, I would rate it as average, hair lasts for hours styled.

New favorite hairspray!

I have pretty straight and fine hair so I can be very picky about hairspray. A lot of them don’t actually hold texture and style for me, and the ones that do tend to be extremely heavy and leave my hair, crunchy and unnatural looking. I’ve only used this a couple times so far but I’m loving it for keeping my hair soft and bouncy but still holding the style. It also smells great and sprays really well.

L’Oréal never seems to disappoint with their hair products. It was easy to apply and the nozzles helps everything apply evenly. It didn’t make any parts of my hair hard or crips so I was able to brush through it with my fingertips. There is no residue once it’s set. There is a light fragrance to it but not noticeable. My hair lasted for 13 hours with this hairspray, I highly recommend!

An Okay Product

I like the size and the ease of spraying of the bottle. The claim that the mist is fine but holds strong is correct. It may not be as strong as some others on the market but it was very fine mist and held my hair without making it crunchy. And the hold broke very easily like the product claims. My only qualm with the product is that the hair lost its shine after I sprayed it. I have noticed it with other hair holding sprays too and was hoping this would be different. It has a beautiful unassuming smell but use it in an open room because aerosol is aerosol at the end of the day.

I loved this. First of all it’s HUGE. I know this will last for a good while. I used it when I curled my hair for a party, my hair was still soft, no stiffness. It held the whole night, and I have SUPER straight hair. The next day I just put it in a pony tail and went for a long walk, after the humidity, heat and sweat, THERE WERE STILL CULRS 😭 100% recommend

Hold without the crunch

Love this hair spray it has firm hold with out the crunch. & it dries quick and isn't heavy. I like to let my curls set a brush after and it worked out ! I used it for an updo and for a night out! My curls lasted all night !

I’m super impressed with this hairspray. The mist is extremely light and fine—it reminds me of old-school Aqua Net in the best way, but with a modern and refined touch. It delivers a strong hold without ever feeling heavy, sticky, or crunchy.
What stands out the most is how salon-quality it feels. My hairstyle stays perfectly in place all day, yet my hair remains touchable and soft instead of stiff. It also brushes out effortlessly and leaves no buildup.

Shiny hair, style held several hours!!!

This stuff is great!!! I will say when you put it on it’s a bit crunchy but all I had to do was brush it out a bit and the style held up 8+ hours (black shirt before and yellow shirt after!) and made my hair SO shiny and it looked so healthy. The mist was also super fine which is what I look for in a hairspray. Would re purchase!!!

I received L'Oreal Paris Elnet satin extra strong hold hair spray, for my honest opinion. It had a very nice scent. It did hold my hair in place. I did have a problem with spraying it out. The container was a little hard to handle. Did not too dry like the others. It did give my hair a good shine, no dull cast. Prices a little higher than other hairsprays.

Smooth, Even Spray But Smell Is Not Pleasant

This hairspray does hold a strong hold, but leaves the hair feeling sticky. It is an unscented hairspray, but does have an odor that wasn’t super pleasant. If you need a good hold and don’t mind the smell, it is a fine product but not something I would recommend. It does spray on fairly even though which I did like.

Too light

Overall this was good not great. The mist was very fine, but it did not leave a strong hold. I like to use hairspray to tame down my fly-aways but I feel like this formula was too light to do so. And even though this was unscented, there is a pretty strong odor.

No crunchy hair

The first photo with the blue and white striped background is right after I curled my hair and applied the hairspray. The second photo is about three hours later you can definitely still see that I have curls, but they did definitely fall a bit. It’s very light and doesn’t create a crunchy feeling on your hair. I do also like the way it sprays out of the can.

I love this hairspray! The hold is great but doesn’t weigh your hair down. The mist is really great too and not too wet or sticky.
My only complaint is that there’s not a lid or some way to close the hair spray so not doesn’t accidentally get sprayed. It makes it hard to pack for a trip without a lid.

I used Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold hair spray to put my hair in a ponytail and the hairspray kept my flyaway hairs in place without flaking or making my hair too stiff. Overall the hairspray helped keep my hair in place with an incredible shine.

Definitely unscented and lightweight. This product didn’t really leave my hair feeling hard or sticky. Added a bit of volume to my hair but nothing noticeable. The reason for my review is that the product did not really hold my hair well. I curled my hair and my curls fell out within an hour which was disappointing. I would say it could work in humidity but it’s hard to tell with this product. Not the worst product but as a product advertised as an extra strong hold, I would disagree.

The satin finish looks natural and never feels stiff or crunchy. The 11 oz can lasts a long time, provides strong hold without stickiness, and keeps hair easy to brush through. The packaging is standard, but the performance is excellent.

It’s a good spray though the smell could have been better.

This is a very light hold spray. I wouldn’t describe the smell as unpleasant but I think I expected more of a clean soft fragrance. Honestly the spray didn’t seem to make my blow out last any longer than usual.
