Scent too much for me

This was a good quality serum and I did see results. It was a very thick texture and helped with reducing my dark spots but has some heavy fragrance that did trigger my migraines. If it this was released scent free, I would give it five stars.

Soft and silky. Burns a bit.

I have been a big fan of L’Oréal revitalift line for quite some time. I use the hyaluronic acids daily. When I first applied this dark spot serum I noticed that it burned a little bit on my face. Not anything drastic but something I’m not used to with their other products. There is alcohol in the ingredients, but that doesn’t always bother my skin, so I’m not sure if that had anything to do with it. The serum itself is soft and creamy and does feel that way on your skin. I can’t say that I noticed much changed to my dark spots or wrinkles, but I feel like no products really help much with those areas. This would not be a bad product to add to your lineup and it may help prevent but I don’t think it’s a miracle product for me anyhow.

L’Oreal Paris Triple Power Melasyl Creamy-Serum is a good drugstore option for anyone targeting uneven skin tone while still getting good hydration. The creamy serum texture feels more comforting than watery brightening serums. Melasyl is specifically designed for discoloration without irritation compared to stronger acid-containing products. After using the product inconsistently for a few months, I noticed a gradual improvement in discoloration and brightness (see pics). I didn’t experience any skin irritation or breakouts. If you’re looking for a dramatic results, a prescription or medical grade serum may work better, but this is a great affordable option. I also like the twist top pump packaging since it helps prevent leaks.

(After photos with gray t-shirt) Pros: - the texture is perfect and very hydrating - it absorbs well in the skin and doesn’t pill - the packaging is great! I love that it closes with a twist. - I think it works! Comparing the before and after, I can see how some of my spots have faded a bit. Con: - the reason why I’m taking one star from it: the scent. I usually don’t mind scents, but this one is very much like a perfume and, in the evening after shower, it felt too strong.

This stuff has blown me away. I’ve never had terribly spotty skin but this has made my skin look absolutely flawless without uneven tone. It smells incredible and I use it morning and night. It’s almost like a primer before my makeup. I love it! It’s easily become a step in my morning and night routine! I can’t wait to continue to use it and see the effects. Too Sticky After Application

I tried this serum and as you can tell by the before and after pics, it lightened my age spot some. I only used it for about week even though 4 weeks is the recommended usage duration. I only used it about a week because it was so sticky after application and seemed to not really absorb into my skin. It says to rub it until it gets absorbed, but no amount of rubbing worked. When I used it before bed, my face would still feel sticky the next morning. I was excited to try this because it’s supposed to work on age spots and wrinkles. I would be glad to try it again if another formula has less tackiness.

I haven't used this very long, but my skin feels more moisturized. It feels smoother. I love the twist up design of the bottle. It spreads easily and absorbs quickly. It doesn't take much to do your entire face. I don't mind the scent, however, it is way too strong for me. It competes with my perfume and they don't go well together. Other than the fragrance it's a good product.

This is a great moisturizer. The scent is nice without being too overpowering and the consistency of the product is smooth. A little goes a long way and I experienced no irritation. I am giving it 4 stars for these reasons. I have seen a very, very subtle lightening of my dark spots/freckles in the month I have been using but not enough for me to rate 5 stars.

Great product for under eyes!

I am obsessed with this eye serum. After prolonged use I am seeing lighter and firmer skin under my eyes. I don't think there is a strong scent let alone a scent to this. The consistency is very light and creamy. It absorbs quickly. The packaging is lovely, just like all loreal products. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to brighten their under eyes!

I have been using this serum daily, and it has done wonders for my complexion. It helps to hydrate my dry skin, making it feel incredibly smooth. The scent is very light and pleasant and the serum is very creamy. Since adding this to my daily routine, I've noticed a visible improvement in my skin tone. This L’Oréal dark spot serum has a very nice creamy texture and absorbs into the skin well. There is very little scent to it. I used it twice a day for about a month and there is still some left. Sadly, I cannot say it did much for the spots on my face or much else. I personally would look at other products to address this skin issue in the future.

Smooth moisturizer, but my spots stayed put

I received this product for free from L’Oréal Paris and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I’ve been using L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Triple Power Dark Spot Moisturizing Melasyl Creamy-Serum for six weeks. It contains Melasyl, vitamin C, and niacinamide and is meant to help with visible dark spots and uneven tone. My verdict? This moisturizing creamy-serum is a great light moisturizer. My skin absorbed it quickly and felt smooth, not tacky or greasy. I also didn’t notice any irritation or peeling on my sensitive skin. The twist-up dispenser is convenient and feels like a nice step up from a standard skincare bottle, but I still try to take off the lid, even though there isn’t one! The downsides are the pink tone and the scent. My skin already has enough natural rosiness, so I usually avoid products with a pink cast, and the fragrance reminded me a bit of hair spray. More importantly, I did not notice any fading of my dark spots, and I have quite a few to judge from. After six weeks, this worked better for me as a decent daily moisturizer than as a dark spot treatment.

Ultimately, a pass for me

I was initially excited to try it because I have some dark spots around my eyes that really bother me and tend to make me look like I have dark circles or smeared mascara. Unfortunately, when I received the product, the safety information on the box stated that it should not be used on or around the eye area—which was disappointing, since nowhere in the product description did it mention that limitation. I also checked the L’Oréal website and could not find this warning listed anywhere, including the FAQ section. I still tested the product so I could give a fair review. The serum is definitely hydrating and made my skin feel moisturized and slightly plumper. However, it pilled badly on my skin, so I could only comfortably use it at night. While it provided decent hydration, I didn’t notice any standout benefits beyond what many other moisturizers and serums already offer. One thing I did really like was the packaging. The twist-and-pump design feels hygienic, prevents accidental dispensing, and is much nicer than traditional jar packaging. My biggest issue with this serum is the fragrance. It is extremely heavily scented, and the scent lingers for a very long time—I could still smell it on my pillow the next morning. It also contains three added dyes, which I personally find unnecessary in facial skincare products. Between the strong fragrance, added dyes, and the pilling, this just wasn’t a good fit for me.

Amazing serum that works miracles

I love this serum. It's lightweight, creamy, smooth and absorbs very quickly. It has nice, light scent to it, that smells so good. I have not been using it for long, but I noticed that my dark spot got much lighter. The skin feels so soft and you can see smile lines, fine lines disappearing. My skin is so much smoother and my face looks younger and healthier. This cream is amazing. I also love this cute container, that you twist on top and the dispenser part pops out. So you don't have to worry about lids or serum drying out. Will definitely buy and continue using it for more benefits. 100% recommend.

Creamy serum that leaves skin hydrated and soft

I have used this dark spot moisturizing cream a few weeks now, and while I’m not sure it has lessened any spots on my face, it has definitely left my skin feeling plumper and more hydrated. I’ve attached before and after pics. In the first, my skin was so dry and flaky. I chose to show an area on my face with visible sun spots. In the after, the spots may appear more pronounced but I think that just may be because my skin has a healthier glow to it. The spots more than likely will have to be removed by a dermatologist, so I’m not disappointed with this cream. It feels soft and smooth and is easy to apply. There is no smell and no greasy residue after drying. I’m glad I read the instructions because it says to keep away from eyes. I’ll continue to use this serum…especially on my neck and chest and hope in time those sun spots fade away.

Decent enough skin cream

I received this product from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This skin cream is very hydrating and isn't greasy. I haven't noticed a change in fine lines or coloration, but will keep using it to see of it takes more than a month to make a difference. I don't care for the scent - it's very floral and reminiscent of skin cream my grandmother used. Thankfully the acent doesn't last too long. I do really like the container- it's large enough to last awhile and has a spout that twists up and down to a flat position, so it's protected when traveling.

Another winner from L’Oréal!!!

This triple power creamy serum is one of my favorite products from L’Oréal right now. The texture is very creamy but also rubs in like a serum. It absorbs wonderfully with a smooth texture that leaves your skin feeling so soft. I’ve noticed so far after a month of use that the dark spots around my nose have lightened and my skin tone has evened in general. I do have fairly sensitive skin and this has not irritated it at all. It does have fragrance but that hasn’t bothered my skin and it’s not that strong. I’m sure after continued use I’ll see even better resulted but so far this is a great product that does what it says!

Wonderful hydrating serum

This is such a nice serum! And for the price!! It’s hydrating, plumping, and isn’t tacky at all. I’m using some prescription medication for my melasma, so I’m not certain it’s lightening my spots, but it sure is brightening. I’ve spent tons of money on serums that promise the world, but this one works and is worth the cost. Also the packaging pumps out a generous amount of product with just one pump which I really like. Only things I would call out as a potential negative for some is that it is scented. It’s a pretty light floral smell, so I don’t think it will bother many unless you’re super sensitive, but thought I’d call that out.

Nice serum

This is a pleasant, creamy serum that feels very nourishing and hydrating but leaves behind a bit of a sticky residue. I am not a huge fan of the scent and didn’t really notice any lightening of any dark spots after several weeks of use, but i do like this as a serum, and i love the twist-and-pump container.

This product does exactly what it says it’s supposed to do. Packing was compact, red in color, appealing to the eyes. Not overly scented, thick & creamy in texture. Not drying to the skin. After using for 30 days you can visibly see the fading of dark spot even on ethnic skin.

A New Must Have In My Skincare Routine

I’ve been using the L'oreal Triple Power Melasyl Creamy Serum consistently for 30 days, and overall I’m really impressed with the results. The biggest difference I noticed was the brightening effect...my skin looks more even, radiant, and healthy overall. The dark spots along my cheeks visibly lightened over the month, especially compared to Day 1 photos, and I think my complexion looks smoother and more balanced now. The texture is one of my favorite things about this serum. It has a creamy, moisturizing feel that spreads easily across the skin without feeling heavy or greasy. It layered well with the rest of my skincare and felt comfortable both morning and night. A little goes a long way, so application was quick and easy. The packaging also feels really nice and polished...clean, sturdy, and easy to dispense without making a mess. The only downside for me was the scent. There’s a slight sulfurous smell when first applying it that took a little getting used to. Thankfully, it fades pretty quickly after application, so it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Overall, this serum delivered noticeable brightening and fading results in a relatively short amount of time, and my skin definitely looks more refreshed and even-toned after 30 days of use.

I noticed a slightly different on my skin texture after using the L’Oréal Paris triple power melasyl creamy-serum. It improved my skin with slightly even skin tone. I am definitely going to continue to use this product.

Really nice serum

This serum feels great going on and is not at all greasy. It's suitable for my normal but middle-aged skin, and I'm hopeful that I'll continue to see improvement as I continue using it. The packaging is easy to use but protects the contents, especially the vitamin C!

Didn't work for my skin type

I looked forward to using this product, but alas, it made my face break out and didn't change my dark circles or discoloration. It was hydrating, and came from a cool dispenser, but I don't think I'd buy it. Hopefully other people had better luck

Great moisture!

This loreal dark spot moisturizing cream is great for the dark spots near my cheek bones. I am noticing less dark color there since starting to use it. It smells good, is moisturizing and did not trigger any skin allergies for me. I would recommend thus product.

I haven't used it super long (a couple weeks), but can already notice darker spots fading slightly. Absolutely love the twist top, works extremely well. Leaves skin feeling very hydrated. Have to say it smells fabulous. Love the way it smells.

This product is great! It feels creamy and moisturizing and it absorbs well into the skin. I noticed it helped very quickly with my red areas and existing scars - it just makes my skin smoother over all. There is a scent to the cream but I didn’t think it was over powering. I really like this serum and will buy it again.

Helps to fade dark spots on my skin

I have been using L'Oreal Triple Power for a little over 4 weeks. My photos probably dont show how well this seems to be working on some of the dark spots on my face and chest. They are not completely gone, but they do seem to be fading. My skin feels softer and color seems to be evening out. According to the label, it states it can take 8 weeks or longer to lighten dark spots. I am very excited to continue to use this on my dark spots. As a side note, I appreciate the design of the bottle. The top nozzle retracts into the bottle when you twist it. This seems to keep the product from drying out and clogging up. I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
