We would recommend doing a test area to help you to determine how long you would need to leave the bleach in to bring your hair up to the desired look. Always check to make sure you are light enough before removing the solution.

First of all, I've been doing hair for YEARS and I was one of those people who talked down about box dye...However, I was in a bind the other day and was completely out of lightener and was in desperate need of it. All professional stores were closed so I bit the bullet and bought this at my local grocery store...AND OH MY GOODNESS!!! This stuff is better than what I use at the salon I ran!!! I can't get over how well and EVEN this lifted my super dark hair extensions!!! This little gem lifted the hair to a beautiful blonde on the first try! That's unheard of!!! I hope they keep this product forever, because I am in love and refuse to use anything else now!

What to expect from Feria Hyper Platinum

General tips:
1. This product is a very thick cream that makes it super difficult to distribute over your hair so you can easily miss patches and get non-uniform results. My suggestion is not to use its applicator instead pour it in a plastic bowl and use a dye brush or your hand to distribute it evenly.
2. At least buy two boxes. One box is not enough unless you have supper short or very thin hair (I wish L'Oréal was more generous!). I have shoulder-length hair and even two bottles were not enough for me, and I missed small patches in the back. It is always good to have extra to completely cover and saturate everything to avoid patchy results.
What you can expect from this product:
My natural hair color is dark brown level 2 or 3, it is not thick at all. I used to dye my hair with Champagne Blonde (8.5A), L'Oréal Excellence Crème, and I like it on my natural hair. It doesn’t come out as in the picture on the box at all (as expected) but it gives me light brown/dark brown color with the minimum orange tone possible without bleaching. Of course, it becomes brassy after several weeks, as you can see in the picture under artificial lights (in reality it is not as bad as in the picture!). The Feria Hyper Platinum can lift my dyed hair as well as my natural hair at the root up to yellow-gold bleached color (about level 8) as you can see in the picture. I put it about 60+ min away from my root and 30+ min at my root per its instruction. The purple conditioner does not do much at all! Only my baby hair around my face became platinum blond!
In a nutshell, it works like bleach, but does not burn the scalp, and does not give you enough lift and ashy tone to get to platinum blonde from dark hair. You need additional toner treatment to get a good result.

My favorite lightening bleach I would absolutely love to receive free products. I'm a loyal Loreal Paris costumer. I use this dye every 2-3 months to keep my blonde long locks perfect. I use 3 boxes on my hair and getting help to save and or free products would be amazing.

Need a toner

Ended up with very brassy, yellow hair. I had to use another box and the toner. I still ended up dyeing my hair brown because I did not like the color.

BEST lightened ever!

Ive had my hair bleached for years, I m a retired hairdresser. After bleaching and toning for years, I decided to give my hair a break. Grew out the bleach and decided to try Absolute Platinum. I thought there was no way this was gonna get my hair.As light as it shows on the box. And if it did, it was gonna be very bright.Yellow. Boy, was I wrong.
This got my color so perfect. I didn't even need to use antibrasy shampoo
These reflexes, this lifted better than cream oil. Bleach with 40 volume developer.
I don't know how, but this is the best lightner ever.

I loved the color easy to apply didn't damage hair to bad at all and last for a while if use correct care afterwards.

Not what it used to be to be

Not sure what has happened to this product or brand. This dye use to be my go to for changing up my color because of the lift quality. The past two years of purchasing this and another bleach from Féria has been terrible! The boxes are clearly very old because they will NOT mix! The product is runny with clumps no matter how much it’s mixed. For the record, yes, I can read and follow the instructions correctly. Such a shame because this USE TO work and be wonderful. No I’m. It paid for this review. It’s honest.

Definitely the one I would rather use than another store brand bleach or toner! Works nice, easy instructions. Doesn't give off a horrible smell like most toners or bleach do! Gave me the blond I was looking for!

Honestly, this bleach system surprised me! It lifted my hair evenly without frying it, and it didn’t have that super harsh smell most bleaches do. My hair still feels soft, and the color came out way brighter than I expected.

Works and affordable

Great packaging and comes with mostly everything you need to achieve the perfect platinum color at an affordable price. I recommend using a good toner afterwards for darker hair colors.
